Worst thing i have ever used, It breaks code constantly, crashes constantly, tries to read base code even when you do not want it to, sends you uncomplete code all to often with random code added without any prompt.. Just the worst thing to ever be made in all honestly, Not even worth using as a free product - Avoid using this at all costs & save your money as well as your sanity.

Can you provide more details to help us check the issues you are seeing and resolve them.
In case auto completion is causing an issue for you, you can turn of auto completions (please check the screen below on how to):

Can you exactly describe the issue when you say it's reading the code base when you do not want to? If you have enabled indexing your code for getting answers based on your code, it will index and access the code or use the code selected by you when using context menu options or the code pasted as input and context from prior conversations.

Saul, it looks like in the last 5 days you have had almost 800 chat back and forths with Bito. Wow, glad you are using it a lot. Were all of the usages bad, or was it just some stuff today? We would like to figure out what is not working well for you so we can fix it. thanks, amar

I have, I’ve tried using it for simple coding projects & more in depth projects as I have multiple projects at the moment, it’s terrible worst 5 days of my life it has been deleted and removed with glee.It will try to search my code a majority of queries I ask, The issues are many from it sending me incomplete code which are full of mistakes, it creates code in HUGE dumps making it incredibly unstable & very untidy, it offers incorrect out of date information, Even after reading the code base it struggles to even complete the folder directory correctly as a list.. I have to remain honest in my review perhaps 10% of replies actually helped fix an issue but it would be something that was ‘together’ in one set of code rather than any code that required it to have context to other code files which tends to be a common thing hence the huge code dumps that have more chance at errors most of the time it took multiple attempts &/or rewording my questions to the point a blind, deaf person on their death bed could fix the errors faster, Im actually convinced that I could get a monkey to fix my code better than this.. A lot of the answers from the AI I spent telling it that it is giving incorrect or with errors which it would agree with its reply, I would give it a request and it would seem to crash.. Just give up like it had timed out.In all honesty if I could rate it a minus I would have, I can’t stress how incredibly poor this ‘AI’ is unless you need it to write you a quick word document with errors every 5 words then I would recommend anyone to AVOID LIKE THE PLAUGE, I didn’t even pay for it & I still feel like I’ve lost something, perhaps my sanity or maybe my dignity.. Hey, really sorry. Are there any specific examples you can provide us? Like maybe share one of your chat sessions with us (we have a share button). You can send it to support@bito.ai to keep it private? I want to see if it's an installation issue or something else.

We have so many thousands of users who use it every day, so your experience is unusual. I want to figure out what is happening. Is the plugin not working right in your IDE or AI really doing badly? Btw, what languages are you programming in?

Hey no need to apologise it’s not your fault, It is what it is but after my experience I can’t remain optimistic nor care to hide my frustration. Unfortunately as must as I’d like to help I removed it today after to many wasted hours of back and forth, It actually messed up my folder structure on a very simple project with its advice that’s when I decided enough was enough discarded all changes & deleted it immediately, That is as much as I can offer on what caused me to remove it completely with nothing but utter satisfaction but yet still an incredible amount of frustration that it’s wasted hours of my day.I get what you are saying & I’m not an expert programmer or developer so on my part it’s evident this AI isn’t suited to intermediate developers and below which I assume is partly to blame in the outcome being so poor, My friend is actually a full time developer & even he was dumbfounded by how poorly it preformed at such minimal tasks otherwise I’d have assumed it was something to do with my experience in development.Everything seemed to work fine the first day or two to a degree it wasn’t perfect but no where close to this poor, you did an update the other day to be able to move the window which was a very nice update however that’s when I started to notice more errors I didn’t think cub of it but it did seem to start from then as that’s when I started to get time out issues & what seemed to be crashes it would say generating.. then just freeze and not produce any reply id have to close vscode from task manager then reopen it to use it again, it would return the message to the text box and I would need to send it again (these issues happened quite often) the past few days.The projects right now a lte mainly next.js sometimes react (of course), A tiny little python but nothing intensive some of the code was rather ‘bulky’ to put into plain terms but this is because there is no break down of code it doesn’t stage it nor invite you to format/structure your code correctly as you would by hand leading to the huge dumps I mentioned (This has the other problem of making it extremely difficult to debug & figure any issues without getting AI to find the issue and fixing it by hand if at all possible just because of the sheer amount of code in a dump which is why it has taken hours a project that should have taken no more than 2-3 hours has wasted my full day.I hope this helps considering I couldn’t share a chat session but you are also welcome to review the previous chats if you have that option however there is some colourful language so I will warn you before hand.If there is anything else I can help with I don’t mind but if that is all I can offer then I appreciate your time & service by contacting me.On 23 Nov 2024, at 21:10, amargoel98 ***@***.***> wrote: Hey, really sorry. Okay, this is super helpful. We are on it. Our CTO is already looking into it. We will track this down, maybe we introduced a serious bug with the expandable window update.
