Description
Preconditions and environment
At Magento 2.4.7-p5 when the Apple Pay is enabled at Adobe Payment Services, Console errors are recorded in case the user visits the front-end of Magento without an iPhone or iPad device. These errors don't seem to impact the payment process at first glance. However, in general search engines like Google rank low pages with Console errors, because they cannot know whether these cause functionality problems.
Steps to reproduce
- At STORES > Configuration > SALES > Payment Methods > Featured Adobe Payment solution enable "Apple Pay" payment method as follows:
2. Save the configuration.
3. Refresh the Caches.
4. Visit the front-end of Magento with a Chrome browser on Desktop.
Expected result
No console errors should be recorded, or an informative message like the below:
Actual result
The browser console error "This device does not support Apple Pay" shown below is recorded 2 times at all native page types of Magento except from the Checkout page; i.e. Home, CMS, Category, Product, Cart pages. Most probably the reason that the console error appears twice even on CMS pages is because Magento attempts to show "Apple Pay" payment option at the mini cart.
