I am not able to extract day of week from timestamp. I have some custom rules that rely on day of week - e.g enable filter on Monday.

Is this currently possible to do? Thank you.

Hi @tanweien!

At the moment, OTTL does not support any specific function for extracting the week day from a timestamp, as an alternative, you could use the FormatTime converter, for example:

filter:
  logs:
    log_record:
      - FormatTime(time, "%a") != "Mon"

You can either use %a for abbreviated weekday names (Sun, Mon, ...) or %A for full names (Sunday, Monday, ...).
