Documentation: Sf2 dir struc. vs Sf3 dir struc. vs structure-agnostic

Which structure should we use in the documentation? Should we keep the old directory structure, should we move to the new one or should we try to be as structure-agnostic as possible?

Or can we do nice things so we can show both new and old structure? E.g. old structure in the code, new structure in the title attribute when you hover over the file comment? Or maybe a switch "old/new structure" and saving that switch in a session/cookie/JS storage thing?

In my opinion:

• Stick to the old directory structure for all the 2.X doc branches
• Switch to the new directory structure for the upcoming 3.x doc branches

I agree with @javiereguiluz. People are used to the old structure. Since it's still the default structure in Symfony 2.5, e should stick with it. But, we could add a note to the explanation of the new questions which mentions that we use the old structure in the docs. Thus, people adopting the new structure won't get confused when reading the docs.

Now we've somewhat removed the 3.0 directory structure from the 2.* series, I've milestoned this with the 3.0 milestone. However, we first need to wait till the big rewritings in 2.* are finished, to avoid lots of merge conflicts.

As a matter of fact, I suggest to close this issue. Reasons? It's too early to discuss about 3.0 and nobody knows anything about the directory structure of 3.0. Everything can, and will, change.
