Outputs 0,0 for all pixels with mp4 ASP

Hi, first off really loving how these examples are running!

Im having a problem, when I use any input file except the sintel clip I get an output of all zeros.

I think this may have something to do with MP4 SP vs ASP after using ffprobe to compare differences between my files and the example file.

Any tips?
